FAQ

What is a FFL?

An FFL (Federal Firearms License) allows us to legally buy, sell, and transfer firearms in compliance with federal and state regulations. At 7Point62 Outfitters, we provide a smooth and reliable transfer process, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all responsible gun owners.

What services do we provide?

We offer hassle-free and easy-to-understand firearm transactions. Our services include:
  • Ordering firearms for you
  • Accepting and processing online firearm purchases
  • Handling private party transfers
To schedule any of these services, please call or text us to set up an appointment.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Bring a valid Washington state ID or driver's license. If you're military with an out-of-state ID, bring your orders and military ID. Expired IDs or missing address verification will not be accepted.

As of January 1, 2024, all buyers must have a certification to complete a firearm purchase. You can obtain this certification for free here. Please bring either a printed copy or a digital image of your certificate on your phone.

For payment, we accept cash, credit, and phone tap payments (Apple Pay & Samsung Pay). We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. If paying with cash, we can provide change.

Keep getting delayed?

If you have a common name or frequently experience delays with your federal background check, the ATF offers a solution. Check out this ATF form to help prevent delays or wrongful denials in the future.

I have a CPL can I just take my Pistol today?

No, unfortunately, you can’t. As of July 1, 2019, Law 1639 removed the ability to take home a pistol on the same day of purchase. It also established a mandatory 10-business-day waiting period for all firearms.

What are the waiting periods for my firearm?

There is a mandatory 10-business-day waiting period for all firearm purchases. This does not include weekends or holidays, and the full 10 days must pass before you can take possession of your firearm. RCW 9.41.092
